Law. He's a pastor from Arlington, Virginia, Southern Baptist, who has gained some notoriety in the

last year because he determined to ask questions about whether Southern Baptist churches

should allow women to be pastors in their churches. And because of his tenacity and his determination to keep pressing that question

seeking an answer to it, the Southern Baptist Convention in New Orleans in its annual meeting

just a few weeks ago voted to amend its constitution to say, no, we cannot have women

serve as pastors in any of our churches. Now, that's the first of two

votes that it has to survive. The next one will be at the 2024 annual meeting. But we talked to

Mike about the progress of that whole movement and what happened to him, what his thinking was,

the challenges and obstacles that he had to overcome,

and how God has worked in the midst of that to bring some greater health to the SBC.
