Spent a lot of time last hour on Donald Trump, taking over the Metropolitan Police Department

in Washington, D.C., sending in the National Guard and saying he's fed up with the crime

and the murders and the homeless people.

We'll do more on that later on.

Here in California, we've got Gavin Newsom,

who is obsessed with Texas, and after the Texas legislature tried to pass a new law that would redraw the districts. They haven't been able to yet.

You may have seen the Democrats in the legislature there fled to Chicago. But they continue to

try this. And Newsom says, well, if they do that, then we are going to have a special election.

And I'm going to get the voters to overturn a constitutional amendment that we passed

about 15 years ago, which said for congressional district lines, we have an outside commission

draw them.

And Newsom wants to bamboozle us into changing the law.

And then the commission would no longer draw the lines for the next few years.

Because he wants, they have a plan to make it 49 Republicans and three Democrats representing California in Congress. 49 to 3. Right now, it's

43 to 9, and that's not enough for him. Now, over 40% of voters vote for Republican

Congress people, and even then, it's 43 to 9. So he thinks it's equitable to make it, it's good democracy if the Republican representation

was reduced to, oh, about 6% of our delegation.
