Thank you, Lord.

Well, if we went home now, we could feel like we went to church, right?

But you combed your hair and you came out.

Might as well get the whole thing, is that right?

First John chapter four, first John chapter four, we've been on a series for a number of weeks

now that the title is trying, try rather, try the spirits.

And it's based on this verse here in 1 John 4.

We'll begin in verse 1.

And I'm excited today.

The Lord is answering our prayers about this.

We prayed a prayer at the beginning of this asking for the Lord

to show us these things and reveal. And, man, I got some things yesterday.

Mm. Mm. Mm. Glory to God. And so it takes the Lord in utterance to get it out.

But you're believing with me, right?

Well, just what we just pray.

In 1 John 4 and 1, 1st John 4 and 1, he said,

Beloved, believe not every spirit. But try, and that word try means to test.

Test or examine the spirits. What are you testing them for?

To see whether they're of God or not.

Just because it's spiritual and real, it doesn't make it God.
