In our communication with each other, let's be just radically truthful people.

No hidden agendas, no craftiness, no adulterating of the truth, telling it like it is, and being wise in that regard.

at Bethlehem Baptist Church on April 6, 1994. The seventh reason for why truth is so crucial, as I see it in the Bible, is that Paul's

truth-driven ministry style.

For example, he says in 2 Corinthians 138, we can do nothing against the truth but only for the truth but Paul as he contemplates how he should minister

he sets up the truth as a standard and he says I'm not going to do anything against the truth

there is a doing that accords with the truth and a doing that does not.

2. Corinthians 4. 2. We have renounced the things hidden because of shame, not walking in

craftiness or adulterating the word of God, but by the manifestation of truth, commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God, but by the manifestation of truth,

commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.

I love that.

That's so much the way I want to be.

That's the way I want our church to be.

Renouncing hidden things.

Nothing underhanded.

Nothing hidden.

Everything on the table.
