Given the environment of political correctness in many a church, the preaching of the day of judgment

has either been deliberately forsaken, less scare some people away, or the preachers themselves

have ceased to believe it.

In fact, there's not a month that goes by without somehow I hear about a pastor who has abandoned the very faith that he once preached.

If this says anything to me personally, it says that the day of judgment is closer than ever.

We have been forewarned in the scripture that immediately before the return of Christ is

going to be a great apostasy, the falling away from the faith.

And so if this says anything to me personally, it says that the process of separation between sheep and

goats, between the wheat and the chaff, has already begun. If this says anything to me personally,

it says that God is beginning to prepare his faithful believers, he's beginning to prepare

the bride of Christ because they're the

ones who be looking forward to it while the others asleep. If this says anything to me, it says

that the day of our glorification is drawing now, that the day of our redemption is near, that the

day that Jesus promised is coming sooner than anyone may think.

Jesus said in John 14.3, I will come back and take you to be with me that where I am you will be.

When Jesus was ascended into heaven on that ascension day, in the book of Acts chapter 1,

verse 11, there before their very

eyes, not just the disciples, but also many hundreds of the followers, they saw Jesus going

into heaven, and an angel came and he said, the same Jesus that you are seeing going up to heaven

will come back in the same way from heaven as you saw him going to heaven.

Beloved, listen to me, deceivers can tell us all sorts of stuff.

They've been telling us that God is not going to judge anybody.
