As Andy said, my name is Ryan, and there's a couple things you need to know

about me. Number one, I am from the great country of Texas. Please don't boo, okay? Here visiting

friend of Saddleback Church. The second thing that you need to know about me is that I'm married.

This is a picture of my wife.

Now, when people see a picture of my wife, they think to themselves, how in the world did

he get her?

Let me explain when my wife and I were dating.

I overheard her tell a friend that she thought it would be cool to get engaged

and married on the same day. I had absolutely no idea what that meant, so I guessed and began

planning our wedding behind her back over the course of two years. I was in 11 weddings before I was

ever in my own. Apparently Apparently I was a good friend in

college because people I barely knew kept asking me to be in their wedding. Nevertheless, I would

bring my girlfriend to each wedding and I would take copious notes on everything that she liked

and didn't like about each wedding. On the 11th wedding, which was three weeks before

this planned engagement, the groom walks up to me and says, hey, I hear you're doing a surprise

...
