0:06.4	special prosecutor Jack Smith is reacting to this threat from former president Donald Trump
0:11.8	on Truth Social today. It says it right there. Quote, if you go after me, I'm coming after you.
0:17.2	Now the special prosecutor is asking for a protective order saying if Trump
0:21.2	were to begin posting details from grand jury transcripts, it could have a chilling effect on
0:26.7	witnesses. Remember, this is just 24 hours after his arrest and a raiment in his third
0:31.2	indictment over election interference. And after the judge warned him against making threats,
0:37.2	let's go straight to John Deney's, the former Nixon White House counsel. And John, you and I've
0:41.7	spoken about this and Donald Trump so many times. But, you know, as I was discussing with one of
0:48.6	our producers before this program got started in the past, you know, we would talk about Donald Trump's
0:53.9	tweets and his social media posts and wonder what the impact might be. But it sounds as though
0:59.5	the special counsel in this case, Jack Smith, is really seizing on this very inflammatory
1:05.4	threatening sounding posts from Donald Trump on Truth Social and alerting it to the judge. The
1:10.4	government arguing that the restrictions that they're seeking are necessary to prevent Trump from
1:14.7	publicly disclosing sensitive, discovering information. Can you walk us through what this means?
1:20.4	Yeah, it looks like the post from Trump came out while they were working on a motion to agree
1:28.4	upon a protective order in general to exchange discovery material. And this obviously caught their
1:34.7	attention. This is not the sort of norm that they're used to dealing with, but we also all know
1:41.3	after watching Trump for many, many years now in court proceedings, particularly those where he's
1:46.7	a target that he likes to play the bad boy. He likes to threaten. He likes to control witnesses.
1:53.2	He likes to tell prosecutors, call them nasty names. And Jack Smith is going to call out to the
