Would you turn, please, to Scripture this evening to Matthew the 15th chapter, we began

four, three weeks ago, I guess four now, talking about a subject of truth or tradition.

And in praying about the church and what kind of church it's supposed to be and what

we're supposed to do, I felt like the Lord is giving us this as part of laying the foundation

of the church. How many believe the church ought to be built not just on men's ideas, not just on

the religious traditions of men that are not the

word.

We want to be built on the solid rock.

Amen.

We want to dig down through the muck and the junk and the mud and the sand and hit something

solid.

Amen.

Hit what though heaven and earth will pass away,

won't pass away. The word, the truth, and if the church is built on the truth, and if our

lives are built on the truth, then when storms come and situations arise, though it might be rough.

When the dust clears and the wind quits howling, we'll be standing there.

Amen.

Standing there with the answer because we're built on something solid.
