Suddenly and unexpectedly over the weekend,

an actor whom many of us know Bob Saggett

was found dead in his hotel room in Orlando, Florida.

Please say there were no signs of trauma or drug use,

so why or how Bob died remains a mystery.

This of course is a tragedy of the worst kind,

so I would like to at first extend my sincere and heartfelt condolences

to Bob's wife, his entire family.

I met Bob Saggett one time at a restaurant in West Hollywood

before I had any notoriety of my own,

and he was extremely kind and gracious to me

and the group of friends that I was with who were star-struck to see him.

Many of us feel like we grew up with Bob.

I mean, who didn't watch Full House in the 90s?

Uncle Jesse DJ, the Patriarch, Danny Tanner,

a storyline of a close-knit family coming up

in what felt like a hopeful San Francisco.
