Hey, welcome back to another Thursday bonus 10-minute ESM episode, which I will release periodically throughout the year in association

with events that are coming up, different preaching opportunities where I hope I can share

with you where we're going to be, and if you're in the area, maybe we can worship together.

These episodes aren't just about that, so I will deliver a spiritual idea

that you can use going into the weekend, which today is related to a Christian music song

written by Matthew West called Truth Be Told. If you're someone who listens to Christian music

on the radio, you probably recognize this song, and I'm hopeful that a study

of the lyrics will add some extra meaning for you. If you do not listen to Christian music,

this may even be better for you, because you will get introduced to some lyrics that I think

have the potential to change the way you pray and the way you interact with others. So we will walk through those words together and I will make a few observations.

I'm kind of toying with the idea of doing this with all of the shorter episodes this year.

Choose some songs that continue to have deep impact in my life and share some of that meaning with you.
