The great thing about Paul in going back not to get all gloppy right off the bat is back in those days like he and liberating people like they maintain the fiction that they weren't gay.

There's a great stand up comedian who does I can't remember his name but he does this bit where he says look you know there are a lot of cynics out there in this cold hearted world who say you know there's no such thing is the one that one true love that you find that is yours for eternity.

I say to them look at sigfried and Roy one gay lion tamer found another gay lion tamer in the whole world in the whole world that they would meet right there on the Las Vegas strip.

And they're both both European I believe I believe that's right. That's right which probably means they're German because only German say when you ask them where you from they say Europe because they don't like to say they're German.

I can only my ear can only detect basically in northern Europe out on the continent I can only ever really detect like Spanish I can detect Italian I can detect French I can detect German and Dutch.

And this of course causes problems and there's sometimes pretty close though yeah yeah and this I was going to say this causes problems for parts of France parts of Germany parts of Belgium but all of Belgium.

And then I can then I pick back up with Slavic but there is a gray zone in the center of the continent where you're like a vaguely European much like your vaguely vaguely vaguely Canadian foods I hear vaguely European accents you know what I'm.

Can really drape for a loop is Portuguese.

Oh yes you want to think it's Spanish or Italian or something and then it sounds like weirdly Scandinavian and there are a lot of X's in it and you're like what's going on it's strange I think Portugal is the Ireland of continental Europe it's beautiful poor has it has a history that is.

One that whether we're challenges and bad neighbors yeah right Portugal is a story of bad names and there's a lot of Portuguese blood in Ireland because of where ships wrecked and where sailors went and how all that stuff so isn't that we're let's call I don't want to get trouble here but black Irish are basically.

Stranded Spaniards and Portuguese in Ireland right isn't that right well the so the British Isles are the reason that the British Isles were such a good or no they were it was a great start for the United States because there was already a kind of ethnically pluralistic model in the British Isles starting with the Romans right so you have and so black Irish yes are dark complex did so you have Irish people who look like Conan O'Brien right.

And then you have Irish people who look like who's a good example of a who is a good and you see it with the Welsh and sometimes the Scottish where you have dark complex and sort of ruddy skinned even sometimes a little olive and it's because as a maritime people and and because of their great location all of the all of the peoples of the world so we already had a good template here for mixing and matching I like it I like it all right.

So frankly I'd rather talk about this then what you're here talk about.
