We should have been something that we foresaw in August.

We have an extra week of the regular season. We should move the trade deadline back a week.

But even for it to be last week in a league, that's early even for a 17 game season,

or sorry, schedule 16 games, 17 games. Maybe that would never have got moved from when it was 16 games.
