| 0:27.0 | thoughts that I've been having and we went through the story of Daniel and Babylon. So some of you may be familiar but this is when |
| 0:35.6 | during this time the King of Babylon essentially chose young men to come and he wanted to show or at least test their aptitude when it came to |
| 0:47.0 | their learning, their understanding, and they're qualified, just wanting to see if they were qualified to be in the king's palace. |
| 0:55.1 | And so he assigned them a daily amount of food and wine from the king's table that he wanted them to eat. |
| 1:02.0 | And the story goes that Daniel essentially said that he did not want to be |
| 1:05.4 | defiled by the royal food and wine and asked one of the officials if he could have permission to not defile himself and choose a different diet than what the king was suggesting. |
| 1:17.0 | And so that's where we went through and this is in Daniel chapter one. |
| 1:21.0 | So a lot of this really stemmed a thought |
| 1:25.6 | that God can do more with less. |
| 1:30.6 | And essentially what came to my mind is I was going through the story, which I haven't gone back through for a long period of time, is the fact that you don't have to make your name known. God will do that for you. |

| 1:48.0 | and your activity, and your grind, or your process to essentially make your name great and or elevate you to the next level or get you to where you know you want to go because that's God's job. |

| 2:19.8 | essentially are just really supposed to be focused on our obedience. |
