Summary
Have you completely surrendered your future to God, or are you still trying to control the outcome? In this episode, we tackle the pressure we often feel to take life into our own hands and overwork ourselves to produce results that only God can truly bring. We break down what it means to fully hand over your plans and desires for the future to God, how to trust Him even in the midst of doubt, and why obedience is the key to unlocking the future you’re hoping for.

| 0:09.2 | And today, we really want to just talk about the Bible study that we actually had last night. |
| 0:14.3 | So we recently just started this Bible study with two really close friends of ours that |
| 0:19.0 | we're doing every Thursday and a lot of what we went through has been really centered around even a few |
| 0:27.0 | thoughts that I've been having and we went through the story of Daniel and Babylon. So some of you may be familiar but this is when |
| 0:35.6 | during this time the King of Babylon essentially chose young men to come and he wanted to show or at least test their aptitude when it came to |
| 0:47.0 | their learning, their understanding, and they're qualified, just wanting to see if they were qualified to be in the king's palace. |
| 0:55.1 | And so he assigned them a daily amount of food and wine from the king's table that he wanted them to eat. |

| 1:30.6 | And essentially what came to my mind is I was going through the story, which I haven't gone back through for a long period of time, is the fact that you don't have to make your name known. God will do that for you. |
| 1:44.9 | You don't have to over work, over extend yourself, |
| 1:48.0 | and your activity, and your grind, or your process to essentially make your name great and or elevate you to the next level or get you to where you know you want to go because that's God's job. |
| 2:02.0 | You know, in the different prophecies that you'll hear throughout the Bible and maybe even maybe you've heard just other people receive something that I've been noticing and paying a lot of attention to is the fact that God will say I will make you right like |
| 2:14.7 | he's the one that does the making and the pruning and the elevation we're the ones that |
| 2:19.8 | essentially are just really supposed to be focused on our obedience. |
