I kind of have this inner battle of if I just sit back and wait, then I feel like I'm just waiting for him to drop a guy in my lap and it just magically work out, which I know he's capable of doing, but that also feels lazy.

So then the other side of things is, well, if I jump into, you know, trying to take control

and trying to do something about it, for example, there was a guy that I had had a past

relationship with.

We kind of separated and then things kind of came back together and timing felt right. And so I really

struggled with the, am I trusting God if I reach out to him or is that me taking control and trying to do

things my way and the way I want things to happen? Are you ready to talk to me? My name is Deborah Felata and I'm a licensed

professional counselor, national speaker, and author. Through my blog, books, and podcast, I have the

privilege of helping millions of people get healthy mentally, emotionally,

spiritually, and relationally. The purpose of this podcast is to have on-air, authentic,
