For in you, I trust.

Make me know the way I should go.

For to you, I lift up my soul. Oh, what a great verse. What a great verse to start a day

with. Let me hear in the morning of your steadfast love. What a great way to wake up, listening to

hearing about the steadfast love of God. This is exactly what the Bible

teaches when it talks about in lamentations, the mercies of the Lord, the steadfast love of the

Lord being new every morning. This is why it is so important to spend some kind of time with the Lord in His

word at the beginning of our day. Even if it's just a few minutes and you spend more time

later on in the morning or later on in the day, but to hear in the morning of the steadfast love of God

for his voice to be what we hear first. Not all the other voices in this world, but to hear the voice

of God first in our minds and our hearts. Let me hear in the morning of your steadfast love for in you, I trust.

Oh, we're just reminded every morning when we wake up, we hear of a steadfast love, we think about all

that's going on in our lives, and we can say, God, I trust in you. I've heard of your steadfast love

in a fresh way this morning, and I trust in you. I've heard of your steadfast love in a fresh way this morning,

and I trust in you. And then the second part of verse eight, make me know the way I should go.

For to you, I lift up my soul. What a great way to begin the day. Lord, today, make me know

the way I should go. One of the things I try to do in my time of the Lord each morning

is just to kind of pray through the day, to think through the people I will be interacting with,

meetings I have, any things I have on the to-do list, as well as things I don't know are coming.
