After Debbie's husband passed away, she craved sympathy from others, but she knows God is writing her story, and he has more for her.

I could not go anywhere that I didn't want everyone to know my story. I'm a widow, I'm a widow, I'm a widow, feel, you know, feel sorry for me.

That is initially how I would respond, but I really do want to focus on how I can support others.

For March 31st, 2023, I'm Danagresch. You know it's not hard to trust God when life's going easy and

according to plan. Your plan. And you know lately God's been allowing me Nancy to experience what

I've been calling many interruptions, things like my horse getting out of the fence

or a meeting taking longer than expected and I have this sense that God's exercising

my ability to remember that he's in charge of my day and that what he really wants me to

learn or relearn or finally get the message is that he's in

charge of my life no matter what comes into it unexpectedly you've actually

experienced that right Nancy oh I have have Dana and we've talked often about how in God's Providence Robert was diagnosed with two kinds of cancer back to back during 2020 and that's been a hard journey and I know there will continue to be others

but through it all we keep reminding ourselves that God is in control, that heaven rules.

Yeah, in fact, that's what we want to talk about today, the Providence of God.

Yeah, that's a big theological term, but such powerful and beautiful meaning and significance for our lives every day.

In fact, I want to read you something that the 18th century hymn writer, William Cooper, wrote.

This man went through a lot of life challenging issues including mental illness depression and more

He said though judge not the Lord by feeble sense but trust him for his grace. Behind a frowning

Providence, he hides a smiling face. His purposes will ripen fast unfolding every hour. The bud may have a bitter

taste, but sweet will be the flower. Wow. Those are poignant words and that's what we have to learn to trust right

Nancy exactly that the sovereign Lord of the universe knows what he's doing

he's good and he really will work out all things for the good of his children.
