Has fear ever kept you from stepping into something God was calling you to?

Right now, God is calling my husband and me to give

up something we love so dearly. Our little farm. The circumstances are undeniable and the

invitation is clear. We believe God is inviting us to obey him by following him to a new home,

but we can't see what it looks like, not just yet.

I am so very certain God is in this adventure that it's exhilarating,

and yet there are moments of tears and fear.

Oh, the fear can be crippling to the point.

I sometimes feel the urge to just fall on my knees and beg God to change his mind.

Those are the moments when I have to choose faith.

We've been looking at the faith of Joshua and Caleb over the last several days.

They were ready to march into the promised land, their new home, when the other children of Israel held

back in fear. Nancy's friends, Kim Wagner and Holly Elif, are pastor's wives and have faced

many fearful situations. They're talking with Nancy about moving forward in faith rather than fear.
