today to have with us quasi-anonymous Brian. He is going to be our man on the street. He's not

any man. He's not on any street. We are all very particular in

our ways. But I encountered Brian in my orbit through social media and vice versa. And we have

certain similar interests and whatnot. But I have him on the show because I'll make a, I'll start with this analogy, gun control,

um, vis-a-vis narcotic control. Now, what are those two things have to do with each other? Well,

you know, if you're a reasonable homeowner, you want to protect your home, uh, you will get a gun permit.

You have to go through all the constraints and strictures and whatnot in order to get that. You have to be a law-abiding citizen, not a felon, and so forth,

so on. But then there are a lot of guns around. People shoot each other, and then there

come more and more restrictions on your honest legal ability to protect yourself. Now, what does

that have to do with narcotics? Well, I think it's

pretty obvious, but I'll elucidate. And we can have Brian talk about this topic as well. But

there are reasonable uses for narcotic medications, and some other people kind of spoil the

party. People who are using it illicitly and for, you know, kind of addictions out of control and whatnot,

bring basically a narcotic control aspect to the medical practice and also kind of, you know,
