They got a 2019 Tacoma.

And my question is, so the truck runs a 20-weight oil, 0-W-20. And I'm just wondering if I

should put an oil additive into that. It seems like I hear you guys talk a lot about adding something to that 20 weight oil.

And I'm just wondering, the motor sounds a little louder than I would think you'd hear.

It's a little ticking, you know, so I just didn't know if it's worth putting some oil additive in to add something to that 20 weight oil.

The Tacomas and the Toyotas have been pretty good oil system-wise.

We don't see very many oil system failures with those vehicles at all,

and therefore they're typically fine with just regular oil changes.

Now, I mean, regular ones, not like 6 to 8,000 miles or whenever that thing's coming

on in the dash.

You need to be a little sooner than that, but they usually hold up pretty good.

If this was a different manufactured engine from somebody else that was known for oil system issues, I'd say, yes, an oil additive

would be a good choice, a Justice Brothers heavy-duty vehicle, something that has something

to take the place of the missing lubricants that were added to oils in the past. But with this

vehicle, they're pretty good oil system-wise.

If something goes bad inside, it's usually a failure of a part that's not caused by oil damage
