I'll tell you more about the journal as we go along, but let's start with the definition of a trusted advisor. There's three basic skills that are trusted advisor needs and these are a drama book by David Maister. he says that they should one be able to earn trust and two give advice effectively.

You know, this doesn't just say be free with your advice.

This says how to give and deliver that effectively.

And the third attribute is to build relationships.

Now, here's some questions that David Maister prompts in his book,
