We are in a collection of talks entitled First Fruits, talking about putting first what matters most. First Fruits is a biblical command in the

Old Testament, but it's something that rings loud and clear all throughout the Bible. We're learning

in this new season that it's not always about our abilities, but more often than not, it's about

our priority. If you'll put God in his proper order, your life is going to be in order.

And so last week we talked about first time.

Today, I want to read a passage of scripture.

This is 1st Kings chapter 17.

I'm going to read 14 verses because we are 14 days in.

And I believe you can handle lots of scripture today.

The word of God says this.

Then the word of the Lord came to Elijah.

Leave here, turn eastward,

and hide in the Carrath ravine, east of the Jordan.

You will drink from the brook,

and I have directed the ravens to supply you with food there.

So he did what the Lord had told him. He went to
