Summary

Family parties are much different for Kelly and Lizz post kids. Over the weekend they celebrated the 20th anniversary of the farm with the entire family in one spot and while others celebrated with a lot of alcohol, Kelly and Lizz stayed relatively sober. They recap the entire family celebration with all the traditions and some magical rain thrown in for a little extra fun. The good times didn't stop for Kelly as the next day was the sausage dinner at her church. There's just something about a church meal that hits different.  Lizz needs to talk about the Hatch ad controversy. Some people are throwing out their Hatch sound machines after their new ad and internet rumors of "demonic" voices. Are people being a little too dramatic? It's the perfect Halloween marketing campaign and speaking of Halloween the Car Mom has some spooky fun coming. If you've got a festive trunk-or-treat setup it could win you some money!  In Industry News, EV sales plunged in October when the tax credits ran out. Will this be the end of the EV boom? How many people go back to buy a second EV? Why Kelly and Lizz are crushing on the Honda Passport and suggesting it to everyone. Plus, a new Jeep ad claims they were voted #1 best car for ________. How did they even get that data?  Moving on to Ditch the Drive-Thru, Lizz is super excited for her buffalo mac & cheese she's making tonight. This might be the best hack you'll hear all week! Kelly is also on the pasta train and making a spaghetti staple this week.  Finally, you're going to want to get some tissues ready for Blake's Besties this week as we share a letter from a dad on his experience when they lost their little one.

we're big drinkers. I don't know what I say. Like the sun trips know how to party. And I never thought I would be like so far the other way. I think I had like two drinks at the farm party. And I was like, I'm done. It was a two beers. No, this is my new thing with drinking. I have like two, I like pick the time of the night that I want to catch a little bit of a buzz. And I have like two drinks, kind of back to back. I ride that. And then I let it taper out. And then I'm fine. And I had my moment. But then by the end of the night, I'm sober. And I feel great the next morning. And I like to do that early. And I like to do it early.

fun. It was so much fun to have our whole family in town. I know. We felt so complete. I don't know how mom and dad felt because they're their kids, but like I felt so whole. I know. It's amazing. I didn't realize like how much I was missing Sydney until I saw her. I know. And now she's gone again, which is so sad for us. I know. She said she might come home for Christmas, but she's like, I mean, like, I have a job. She's like, this isn't like Christmas break where I like come home for like weeks at a time. She's like I might feel to come home for a few days. But it's like a, you know, it's like 24 hours of travel. Like it's a very, Australia's far away. It's the furthest away. I think it's the
