How come the mantra of follow the science is not being followed by the Democratic Party?

I'm having a hard time understanding this. I really am. I mean, I'll start with Comrade Bill De Blasio.

You know, we have the CDC guidelines, right? They indicated vaccinated students, staffers can go to school in the fall unmasked.

Okay, but the dopey mayor of New York, Governor New York, then how making kids stick with the mask rule?

We've been constantly working with the CDC, but we also, in this case, have been very careful given everything the city's been through.

So I'm absolutely confident based on this guidance and everything else we've seen that we'll be able to get all our kids back into school in September.

But for now, we're sticking with the idea that, you know, wearing the mask is a smart thing to do in schools.

We'll keep assessing as we go along, but I think for now, it still makes sense.

This, this CDC did not say that. Whatever happened to follow the science, because the science, the CDC indicated vaccinated of your staff or a student, you don't need a mask.

So why are you, why are you not listening to the science? Now, this is I, I find this way more sinister than the way it reads, because so the white houses come out.

There are a lot of firms in New York that are reopening there. You're not allowed back and are risking getting fired.

If you don't prove you got vaccinated now, it raises another issue if we're following the science, you know, the Cleveland Clinic, very prestigious medical institution says, if you got COVID,

then you don't need to get any vaccine. That's what the science says. They keep saying follow the science.

And it does that mean people that had it now you're going to force them to get it there. And by the White House saying they support vaccine mandates by private sector entities and universities and local leaders.

To me, that's kind of like their gutless way of mandating vaccinations without having to take all the heat that would normally be associated with it.

Well, I would say first from the federal government, if I remember the context of the question, it was about federal mandates. I believe, correct me if I'm wrong.

That's not a decision that we are making. That's not a, that is not our intention from the federal government.

There will be decisions made by private sector entities by universities, by educational institutions and even perhaps by local, local leaders.
