Good evening from the newsroom. Topping our CNN global coverage tonight is President Trump engaging

in wishful thinking

out loud about the possibility of China helping him end the war with Iran.

It is a real question going to day two of the summit in Beijing because what the president

has been saying on the subject and what Xi Jinping at least publicly has not.
