Welcome back, America. This is your host of the National Security Hour, Fred Galvin, and now it's time to talk about a very important

topic, the most important topic that we've seen in months. I'm not talking anything about Iran in this case.

I'm talking about something besides the constant sideshow of the Straits of Hormuz and Tehran.

I'm talking about the center of gravity for the United States,

and that is our primary adversary, as well as trading partner,

and that is in Beijing, China.

And this is the theme for today's broadcast is the Trump and Xi meeting that was held

last week on the 14th and 15th of May, over a 36-hour period there in China.

And what was the result of that?

This is very sensitive and significant as far as a national security issue because it's more than something in the straits of Hormuz relating to oil or other issues.

The answer is E, all of the above.

It involves oil.

It involves China's funding and China's resourcing of weapons to Iran.

It involves tensions and allies and partners in Northeast Asia, which truly is the center of gravity.

If that were to go off, and I've always said for so many years, keep your eye on China, specifically what they are doing as far as

arming themselves and ratcheting up pressure and building a position that is likely something that is irrecoverable if we do not take action.

And God help us if we had had different results in the 2024 elections.

And if you saw what our past policies were as far as just kicking the can down the road and

denying sticking our head in the sand and being incompetent and our allies or both our

allies and our adversaries all knew that and if it went from bad to worse if butler
