Hey, pro-life, Jen. Today is a great day. And I'm so excited to be back with you to

Kristen Hawkins Show to discuss what happened last night in the presidential and state elections

that happened across the country and talk about some of the

wins that we saw losses we sustained and really what the future of the pro-life movement looks

like and where we're going from here. So I'm going to start with the good news first because

there was a lot of good news. And I know many of us were very concerned about the outcome of the election.

I've been kind of dreading election day for months, worried about what the outcome would be.

Also at the same time, kind of relieved it was coming so it would be over.

It was one of those weird things.

But the biggest victory we saw

last night in the pro-life movement was what was the first victory that came out. It was the one,

quite frankly, that moved me to tears. My kids all thought something had went terribly wrong.

And I was like, no, something went terribly right. And that was the victory of Florida and the defeat

of Amendment 4. Now, to like line this up for you a little bit, the pro-life movement has lost

ballot referendum, sends a rose reversal in every state, which the mainstream media likes to remind us of,

like literally every time I talk to a reporter in

Kansas, Michigan, and Ohio. But two things were very different about Florida and the fight

against Amendment 4. One, the state legislature in Florida very smartly said, if you're going to come

into our state and run a ballot referendum, you need to have a 60% threshold. Why? Why would they do

that? Are they limiting democracy? No. The idea behind that concept is, you know, these

initiatives are often money makers for the political pundits, for the consultants, for those who do

the TV ad buys and the commercials. And so their thought was, we need to protect our state from outside lobbying groups and
