I can't help but feel like this entire administration is insulting to my intelligence. Pete Hegseth,

every time you speak, you insult my intelligence, and this

morning was no different. Now, right off the back of an awful jobs report that reflects very

poorly on this administration and Trump's tariff policies, he decides to try to redirect the public's

attention by renaming the Department of Defense to the Department of War.

Or so he claims, Trump doesn't have the legal authority to do that without going through

Congress.

But either way, this is going to be very costly, and it's just a terrible look for the United

States on the global stage.

It undermines our stated mission as a country that's supposed

to maintain international stability, at least over the past decade or so, hypothetically.
