Hey, good morning. It's Saturday, March 22nd, day 62, believe it or not, of Donald Trump's

second administration, not 620. It's just day 62. Democrats are fanning out across the country again this morning.

They're hosting the town hall events from which Republicans have almost entirely retreated

as those town halls and the public meetings have increasingly been dominated by unhappy constituents

speaking out against the Trump administration's sweeping government cuts.

We're watching multiple town halls this hour.

Now, it comes as Donald Trump's billionaire commerce secretary is stoking fears that social security

benefits could be next on the chopping block, saying, out loud that most seniors would

not mind if they missed a social security check.

Only fraudsters, he said, would complain. Think about that for a minute. And as the president

convened a room full of school children in the east room of the White House to witness his

signing of an executive order directing education secretary to the

education secretary to dismantle the Department of Education.

Now, that itself comes alongside an all-out assault by the Trump administration against

the freedom of independence of America's colleges and universities, which, as we will

discuss later this hour,

is taking the country down a dangerous path that's ultimately going to cost us all.
