What happened while we were away brought to you by the Pfizer revelation pharmaceutical giant Pfizer has confirmed they do indeed conduct risky research some call gain of function.

And a press release on Friday Pfizer responded to the project veritas sting operation targeting one of their directors of research and development for mRNA technology.

Now Pfizer wants you to concentrate on the part where they say they don't do gain a function research, but just a couple of paragraphs later in the release they say this quote,

in a limited number of cases when a full virus does not contain any known gain of function mutations such virus may be engineered to enable the assessment of antiviral activity in cells and quote sounds like gain a function.

On Thursday at the CDC at the end of a meeting of the committee that studies vaccine and similar products CDC deputy director Tom Shimabakuro had these startling words to impart.

Back to reports of people experiencing debilitating illnesses, I mean, we are we are aware of these reports of people experiencing long lasting health problems following COVID vaccination.

In some cases, the clinical presentation of people suffering these health problems is variable and no specific medical cause for the symptoms have been found.

We understand that illness is disruptive and stressful, especially under those circumstances and we acknowledge these health problems have substantially impacted the quality of life for people and have also affected those around them.

And we hope for improvement recovery and we will continue to monitor the safety of these vaccines and work with partners to try to better understand these types of adverse events that is ominous moving on Donald Trump's favorite for the chair of the Republican National Committee, Rana Romney McDaniel, one her reelection bid easily over former Trump lawyer,
