The U.S. has spent over $11 billion in the first week of fighting with Iran. Gas prices are nearing a four-year high. The U.S. is releasing 172 million barrels from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve. Israel is bombarding Lebanon, and Iran continues to retaliate against U.S. and its allies across the region. And just a few days ago, we learned that the seventh U.S. service member to die in this conflict was Army Sergeant Benjamin Pennington, a Kentucky resident.

He died Sunday after sustaining injuries during an attack in Saudi Arabia.
