Summary

President Trump is facing growing criticism over his actions on COVID-19. CNN learned on a single day where more than 1,300 Americans died of coronavirus, Trump told legendary journalist Bob Woodward "nothing more could have been done." He went on to stress gains in the stock market.  On Monday, Trump held his second indoor rally in two days in Phoenix Arizona. The Latinos for Trump event took place in a room packed with chairs tied together. Trump later said he wasn't worried about getting the virus at the rally because he was on stage, "very far away" from the crowd.  At least 35 people have died in California, Oregon, and Washington State from the historic wildfires.  Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden said Monday America will be ablaze if "Climate Arsonist" Trump is reelected.  Hurricane Sally is intensifying as it threatens to hit the Gulf Coast on Tuesday. Meteorologists say additional strengthening is expected before landfall as a category two storm.  Health Experts say almost 550,000 American children have been diagnosed with COVID-19. The overall deaths in the United States from Coronavirus top 194,000 with 6.5 million cases. The CEO of the world's largest vaccine manufacturer, Pfizer says there's a good chance the company will know if its vaccine works by the end of October.  To learn more about how CNN protects listener privacy, visit cnn.com/privacy Learn more about your ad choices.
