We'll start with the news.

President Trump is set to leave for Alaska this morning for his summit with Russian leader of Vladimir Putin.

The two will meet in Anchorage to discuss a ceasefire in the war

in Ukraine. They will then hold a joint press conference. This is Putin's first time in the

United States since 2015. Yesterday, Putin expressed his optimism about the summit, telling his

advisors the Trump administration is making, quote, energetic and sincere efforts to stop

the crisis and reach agreements that are of interest to all parties involved.
