There's been a furious reaction in Israel after an Iranian missile hit a hospital in Beersheba in the south of the country.

Most of the patients had been moved out of the hospital a day earlier.

But Alan Uzi said he'd been receiving treatment in the emergency department

when the attack happened and didn't have time to reach a shelter.

I was lying in bed and I heard a big boom.

Before I could do anything, there was an explosion

and part of the ceiling fell down and I was covered with white dust.

Wasim Hinn is a doctor at the same hospital.

It's so sad. I never thought something like this could happen.

Never. It's only medical professionals here and patients. And look what happened to us.

Well, the Israeli defense minister said Iran's leader Ayatollah Ali Hamini must be held to account

for the attack. Israel Katz said that the cleric can no longer be allowed to exist.

Earlier I spoke to the BBC's irony wells in Jerusalem. I asked her, what's been the reaction

to the attacks? Israeli ministers have reacted furiously to the attack.

They've accused Iran of targeting civilians.

Iran say that they were targeting a military base nearby,

but both sides are now accusing each other of targeting civilians

after there have been civilian casualties in both countries.

Israel's defense minister, as you say, Israel Katz visited the site of the Soroka Hospital that

was hit by a missile and said there that Iran's supreme leader can no longer be allowed

to exist.
