Well, we are, once again, hurling towards a shutdown of the entire federal government.

This time, it may very well happen on the orders of Donald Trump as a kind of desperate gambit

to stay out of prison.

This comes as the government is set to run out of money next Saturday.

If Republican House Speaker Kevin McCarthy cannot contain his MAGA extremist members, the

government will shut down on October 1st.
