President-elect Donald Trump has announced his plan to create a new agency called the

External Revenue Service, the purpose of which will be to collect tariffs, duties, and all

revenue from foreign countries.

In other news, Special Counsel Jack Smith's report has now been released, and in it, he

alleges that had Trump not won the 2024 election, he believes he had enough

evidence for a criminal conviction. And meanwhile, as the fires in Los Angeles are continuing,

the political disaster there is getting worse. From revelations that a fire safety project

was previously stopped to protect an endangered shrubbery

to news that Governor Newsom and California Democrats reached a $50 million agreement

to Trump-proof the state in the middle of all of this.
