| 0:04.9 | Hello. Well, for the last week or so, Adam has been assembling the newscast playlist. |
| 0:11.0 | There's been a lot of news, but this has been arguably more important. |
| 0:14.5 | And we have been given the job of finishing it while he's off. |
| 0:18.4 | It's been inspired by the King because he launched his own playlist and we will not be outdone. |
| 0:23.3 | No, although I have to confess, I haven't actually listened to the King's playlist yet, but it's on my to-do list. |
| 0:28.4 | So I feel I actually felt a little bit stitched up by Adam on this, right? |
| 0:31.9 | Because when he was putting together this playlist, we were recording an episode of newscast and just right at the end of the |
| 0:38.1 | episode, he went, so, what's your playlist song? I know I heard it. I know. You had no chance. |

| 1:14.9 | heard various people, you know, coming up with their various, very interesting. Faisal's was really good. |
| 1:20.5 | I didn't know Faisal's tune and it was lovely, really good tune. But anyway, I was thinking, right, who are the big names? Who are we missing? I like all |
| 1:28.1 | these old jazz singers. I like Ella Fitzgerald and Etta James and Billy Holiday and all these. |
| 1:32.2 | You know, you could have had a classic from someone like that. You could have had something |
| 1:35.2 | from the early days. I'm literally loving how much thought you've put into it. You could have |
| 1:38.5 | had like Johnny Be Good or something or you could have had a pop classic. You could have had, I don't know, will you love me tomorrow or be my baby? |
