Welcome to TYT. I'm your host, Anna Casperian. Jank is still out. I believe he's on vacation,

but we'll return later this week. But lucky news, we have David Dayan, the executive editor of

the American prospect to join us. And also, of course, Adrian Lawrence, who's been on the show

several times before. David, I just wanted to draw attention to some pieces that your

publication has put out. The Border Crisis is fracturing the Democratic Party.

Yeah, we can talk about that. I was out in Philadelphia with, it was the Networks Nation Convention.

There were a lot of members there. And, you know, the Border Crisis kind of hung over the entire

proceedings. And of course, this stupid slap fight between Pelosi and the squad. And,

don't even get me started. My favorite thing was Maureen Dowd, accusing AOC of weaponizing race.

Oh, yeah. Political means when the House Democrats, Twitter account, the official House Democrats

Twitter account, weaponized race to push there. Yeah. And even when I say in the pieces, when you're

winning, you know, everyone's happy and when you're losing, everyone starts pointing fingers.

And the House Democratic leadership is losing. They're losing the debate. They're losing to Trump.

Yeah. And they're losing sort of the moral fabric of this country, really, by being so

impotent on this serious crisis at the border. And so they're pointing fingers.

Absolutely. I mean, they're lashing out because of their own failures.

That's correct. So I wanted to get all these live reads out of the way, just so we can focus on
