It's the media buzz meter with Howard Kurtz.

This was my challenge yesterday. How much could we pack into a one-hour show with so much

news, much of it involving Donald Trump? So let's see if I can do this from memory. All six

segments, we had guests,

we didn't do items, and I still felt like we left out an awful lot. First segment was about

the Texas flooding. And all of the reporting, and there's some new details that I'll share with you

today, new reporting about the horrible, you know, once in a hundred year flood and how a better

response could have been avoided. The second segment was about the awful attacks on ice agents and how it wasn't getting much

coverage on the other channels. By the way, most of these segments are available online for

media buzz. And also, by the way, I hope you had a good weekend. Okay, so that was number two.

And we had footage of the raid on the cannabis farm in Ventura County, California,

which resulted in some injuries.

The third segment was about President Trump saying there's a criminal investigation of former CIA director John Brennan, former FBI chief, James Comey, about what they did or did not do back in 2016.

I pointed out that there already was an investigation in the first Trump term by a special

prosecutor by the name of John Durham who found nothing on these people.

He ended up bringing charges against three minor officials, and I think one of them was acquitted.

The fourth segment continues to resonate in ways that I find amazing, and that is the Epstein

files and why many in the Maga movement, who are Trump supporters, these are his people.

We're not talking to hear about the left-wing media. Why many of them are really angry, feel betrayed,

and are not shy about pointing that out.

We played some sound that made that very clear.
