0:39.4	Today, the president was set to meet with Russ Vote, director of the Office of Management and Budget.
0:44.6	They have both said that they will likely begin mass firings of federal workers very soon because of the shutdown.
0:51.5	But it's important to note there is no legal requirement that the government
0:56.0	fire employees during a shutdown, and so far in our nation's history, no such dismissals
1:02.6	have ever taken place. By the way, I want you to look closely at the president's post about
1:08.3	his meeting with vote to talk about cunning government agencies.
1:11.3	He described vote as, quote, he of Project 2025 fame.
1:18.0	That is right.
1:19.2	A direct shoutout, celebration even to Project 2025.
1:23.6	And in case you forgot, because I definitely did not, the president in his campaign spent most of
