I took a week off and it's unbelievable

in the traditionally slow period between Christmas and New Year's.

How much went on?

I hope you had a good break somewhere in between there. And I want to lead off with

this. The New York Times and the Washington Post found out about the Trump administration plan

to attack Venezuela before it happened and didn't report it.

And that was the right call.

And here's why.

It would have put American military people at risk, not to mention could have blown the whole

plan to capture Nicholas Maduro. And if it's one thing that you instinctively know,

if there's an ongoing military operation,

you don't reveal that if it is a secret,

even though they found out.

And so it's really something they had to do.

Absolutely the right call.

Now, beyond that, look, I want to be crystal clear on this.
