Suspended talk show host Jimmy Kimmel was said to be meeting with Disney executives yesterday about the future of his show.

Bloomberg cites sources who say the people in charge wanted to talk about whether there's a way to bring Jimmy Kimmel live back.

But that would depend on finding a path forward that satisfies both Kimmel and his critics.

Remember, Disney's ABC network pulled the show as it was under pressure from the FCC and local station owners. They were upset by Kimmel's monologue earlier this week when he accused Republicans

of trying to gain political points from the murder of conservative activist Charlie Kirk

and suggested the shooter had a link to what he

called the MAGA gang. Well, ever since the decision to take Kimmel off the air, there's been

some very strong reactions on both sides. Democrats, entertainers, and other public figures

raced to defend Kimmel, arguing that the government's pressure and the network's decision to

suspend him amounted to an attack on free speech.
