Retailers are warning that high costs as a result of the tariffs are about to hit,

and the message from the Trump administration is for companies to, quote, eat the tariffs.

Retailers are warning that high costs from the tariffs, well, they're all about to hit all at the same time. And some of them are planning to, you know, just shoulder all the

extra costs themselves. Some of them can't really do that,

like your little mom and pop shops.

Others are saying they're gonna increase the prices.

They're gonna make the customers take it on.

The message from the Trump administration

is basically for companies to shoulder it out

and to quote unquote eat the tariffs,

as Trump told them directly.

Now like some companies, they're warning

about prices about to skyrocket. Daily Mail wrote this. It said a $9.99 cent USBC cord from the

store's in-house heyday brand is now ringing up at $17.99, according to a self-identified employee on Reddit. And they're saying it's happening.

The worker wrote, sharing a photo of the price tag update. All of Hayday, they say, is going up.

The spike in 80% increase. It's almost double the price it was before.
