President Donald Trump is teasing a big announcement about Russia and Ukraine today.

Yesterday, reporters asked if there would be sanctions coming for Moscow, and he said, quote, we'll see, while he criticized Russian President Vladimir Putin.

I am very disappointed with President Putin.

I thought he was somebody that meant what he said and he'll talk so beautifully and then

he'll bomb people at night.

We don't like that.

Last week, Trump announced a deal with NATO to send weapons to Ukraine, and he's expected

to meet with the Alliance's Secretary

General in Washington this week. That comes as more lawmakers from both parties are starting

to get behind a bill to introduce sanctions against Russia that would let the Trump administration

impose a 500% tariff on imports from countries that buy Russian uranium, gas and oil.

Republican Senator Lindsey Graham and Democratic Senator Richard Blumenthal introduced the bill,

and Graham spoke about it on CBS's Face the Nation.
