Last night, Donald Trump announced he would be imposing a 25% tariff on Canada and Mexico and a 10% tariff on China unless certain demands were met.

And instantly, the left is losing their mind.

Liberals are screaming and they're posting this meme where Tom the cat from Tom and Jerry is putting a shotgun through a mouse hole and it comes out and points at him.

And I think this epitomizes the short-term thinking of the left and why their ideology and worldview will lead this country to destruction.

Ladies and gentlemen, first, many have argued the tariffs are never going to happen.

The purpose of the tariffs is a negotiating tactic.

And guess what?

Already, we are hearing from inside paper that the president of Mexico has said the migrants, the caravan will not reach the United States.

Really?

I wonder why they just said that.

Now, granted, it is limited reporting, so we'll take a little bit with a grain of salt.

But then we got reports that Trudeau had already called Donald Trump the moment he announced this.

China is saying, no one's going to win a trade war. Yeah, well, I am glad. I am honored to have a fighter like Donald Trump. This is why I voted for him.

And I think this is the correct move. For the longest time, the United States has been taken

advantage of. Our allies in Europe don't pay their fair share. Tax the rich countries of Europe,

who should be paying their fair share for the United States

offering up defense of those countries. And Trump said, you got to pay to bills. And how about

China? And you've got fentanyl from China from across the southern border. How about this?

Even outside of any untoward behavior, our manufacturing

being given away to China. We talked about it a bit last night when the news broke,

and we were having the argument about, you know, we were talking about the free markets

versus protectionism and Donald Trump's tariff policies. And I am for what Donald Trump is offering.
