Donald Trump's campaign was full of tough talk about China.

We can't continue to allow China to rape our country, and that's what they're doing.

As president, he's talking tougher than ever, especially about North Korea, which fired another

missile yesterday. Well, if China's not going to solve North Korea, we will.

But veteran diplomats say China's essential to any possible deal.

As to trade and other issues, they say this week's summit is premature.

By failing to demand any concessions in advance of the meeting,

did President Trump give up an important advantage?

Later on today's talking point, Syria's latest chemical strike,

the blame game continues.
