and the new revelations every day

about some of the most, shall we say, radioactive ones.

That's okay.

It's just, you know, we all thought

after the election was decided, you know, there'd be a week or so to resume regular breathing.

Well, that didn't quite happen that way.

And so in the column I wrote yesterday, I tried to examine why Trump is sticking with at least one

and possible two nominees, despite new disclosures virtually every day.

Matt Gates in particular doesn't seem to have the votes to be confirmed.

So here's my thoughts.

Why?

Why would Donald Trump, media savvy Donald Trump, ignite a firestorm over Matt Gates and Pete Hegeseth, and to a lesser degree, Tulsi

Gabbard and RFK. And based on my reporting, he can't run again. He wants these nominees to disrupt,

even blow up the departments they'd be in charge of.

And if they don't have the usual credentials or never managed a large organization,
