We have accomplished more in 43 days than most administrations accomplished in four years or eight years, and we are just getting started.

President Donald Trump addressed Congress last night, as he both praised and tried to justify

his actions in his first month and a half back in office.

And he had a lot to say.

His almost one hour and 40-minute speech broke the record for the longest annual presidential

address to Congress in modern history.

He spoke about federal government staffing.

They will either show up for work in person or be removed from their job.

Foreign affairs.

I also withdrew from the anti-American UN Human Rights Council.

And tariffs.

There'll be a little disturbance, but we're okay with that.

The speech came on the same day as Trump imposed broad 25% tariffs on Mexican and

most Canadian goods and doubled the duties on Chinese imports.

Trump also used the address to call for tax cuts on tips and overtime,

blame former President Joe Biden for inflation, and once again say the U.S. wants to take over
