I think it sets us back in a very impactful way in the sense that now that they've said

that you can no longer protect people's rights that says that they've been discriminated

against in terms of voting participation by race or for that matter, they said that they are going to allow them to redraw the lines where they, the district lines are voting.

So your congressman or congresswoman may no longer reflect the community you're in. I think the whole purpose of the

Voting Rights Act was to try and make sure that everyone had fair access to the ballot. But the

Supreme Court has done is overturned that. So if you're in a state that you have, for example, they just did the ruling, the vote yesterday

in South Carolina, where you have a state over 30% black, they wanted to take out the only

one black majority district, Jim Clybury.
