In just one hour, the president is going to deliver and address to the nation, which great,

because we haven't heard from him in about, what, at least 20 minutes now? Donald Trump,

Zima, Nell, just never stops talking. And when he's in real political trouble or in a crisis of his own making, well, his solution always seems to be to talk

more. And so from tweets in the middle of night to calls into Fox News to interminable oval office ramblings

to, to tonight, a presidential address to the nation. He really seems to believe that if I just remain omnipresent, maybe I can just weather the storm.

As you probably remember, there was no official address to the nation when this whole war started.

Remember that? We all just woke up on the last day of February to learn that Donald Trump

launched a war with Iran in the middle of the night, and he pre-taped a message at his golf resort wearing a trucker hat.

So tonight, a month later, at 9 p.m. Eastern, he's going to provide his country with what he is calling an update on the war that he launched.

But it seems to me like it could be a transparent, desperate attempt to once again
