Before President Trump left for China, he made a startling statement.

And this really caught my attention, and he kind of said it in passing, but I think it's

really a huge deal.

And it's got a lot of implications for all of us.

He told reporters on Tuesday of last week that he's not weighing the economic burden of the Iran War on everyday Americans, according to NBC News.

Now, his direct quote is, he's not thinking about Americans' finances even a little bit.

And he repeated it not once, but twice. He means what he says. I happen to acknowledge that he's

telling the truth here. I don't think he is concerned with Americans' finances, with our finances,

not even a little bit. He went on to say, quote,

the only thing that matters when I'm talking about Iran, that they can't have a nuclear weapon.

I don't think about Americans' financial situation. I don't think about anybody. I think about

one thing. We cannot let Iran have a nuclear

weapon. That's all. Now, this is intriguing to me. This is fascinating because I've been saying

this from the mountaintops for a very, very long time now, that the government

doesn't care about you. And this is not, this is not for us to hit the panic button, be like,

oh, my goodness, you know, get our feelings hurt. Oh, the government doesn't care about us.

No, it's quite the

opposite. I think it's actually empowering. I think it's empowering for us because we have the

freedom in this nation. We have the freedom and the ability to be able to figure our own finances out.

We've been given that God-given freedom.
